Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
prepartion:
Defrost 1 sheet puff pastry (15 min), unfold. cut off extra pastry to make a square, set aside. Lay the pastry square on a cookie sheet. Place the brie in the center of the pastry and pour the honey\walnut or mixed nut-fig mixture on top of the brie. Gather up the edges of the pastry, pressing around the brie and gather at the top. gently pinch together the excess dough to make it look like a little bag.
optional – Cut out leaves and vines from the excess pastry and press them gently onto the Brie. Beat the egg and brush over top and sides of pastry.
Bake for 20 minutes until pastry is golden brown.
